Amber Sullivan is a dedicated language and speech specialist who has spent decades helping children and adults strengthen their communication skills. Her work focuses on guiding learners who need support in reading, spelling, pronunciation, and speech clarity. Through years of professional practice, she has developed methods that help learners understand how sounds shape words and language.
Her experience includes auditory processing support, speech development, and language-based learning programs. Amber has helped many learners improve how they listen, recognize sounds, and express their thoughts clearly. Her approach supports steady progress through structured practice and patient guidance.
Amber believes that strong communication skills begin with a strong understanding of phonemic sounds. For this reason, she created the phonemic workbook series that focuses on sounds such as SH, TH, CH, S, F, L, K, J, G, and RR. Each workbook helps learners practice sound recognition, word pronunciation, and reading confidence.
These workbooks support parents, teachers, speech professionals, and independent learners in classrooms, therapy sessions, and home learning environments. The activities are designed to make learning simple, clear, and effective for children and adults who need extra guidance.

Meet The Author
Amber Sullivan
Amber Sullivan, former Director and Owner of Professional Therapy Solutions, has many years of experience practicing Speech/Language Pathology. Amber has a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Professional Therapy Solutions serves birth to 3 years, pre-school, school aged children or adults anywhere need arises.
Amber’s many specialties include thorough diagnostic evaluation, the remediation of phonological processing disorders which may precede reading disorders, developing cognitive linguistic growth and moving clinical tasks to applied classroom skills. Amber’s years of professional experience translates into an accurate diagnosis of the students’ needs and assurance of a positive therapy response.
Besides her work with children, Amber has a passion for sponsoring and mentoring beginning speech language pathologists interested in working in pediatrics. Amber has mentored young people with involvement in Big Sisters Program Camp Fire Girls of America, 4-H, and CASA.
Amber and her husband Charlie reside in rural Lafayette County Missouri along with an assortment of treasured animals and family pets. Amber’s daughter, Crystal, is self-employed where her PhD in Neuroscience Research specializes in cerebral stem cell regeneration that will assist millions of people.
